1) Purpose & Scope

This Subscriptions / Payments Policy describes pricing, billing, trials, renewals, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and related terms for paid features of InstaGet (the “Service”) operated by 2740993 ALBERTA INC. (“we”, “us”, “our”). It supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Service control unless expressly stated otherwise here.

2) Eligibility & Account Authority

• The Service is for adults 18+. By purchasing, you represent you have legal capacity and, if acting for a business, authority to bind that entity.
• You authorize us and our payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to store and use your payment method and to make recurring charges as described below.

3) Plans, Features & Fair Use

• Plan entitlements (limits, quotas, API access, archive depth, etc.) are described at checkout or on our pricing page and may be adjusted for technical, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons consistent with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy therein.
• We may throttle, suspend, or require an upgrade if usage materially exceeds plan limits, triggers abuse safeguards, or impacts service stability.

4) Pricing, Currency & Taxes

• Displayed price controls. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices shown at checkout control for that purchase.
• Currency. Charges occur in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank may apply additional fees or its own exchange rate; we do not control those amounts.
• Taxes. Applicable taxes (e.g., Canadian GST/HST/PST/QST, EU/UK VAT, U.S. state/local taxes) may be charged based on your billing details. If you provide a valid business tax/VAT number where accepted, reverse-charge rules may apply for eligible B2B transactions.
• Withholding/Import. You are responsible for any withholding or import taxes, unless prohibited by law. If withholding applies, you must gross-up so we receive the full net amount.

5) Trials, Promotions & Credits

• Trials. If offered, a trial converts to a paid subscription at the posted rate unless you cancel before the trial ends. Eligibility may be limited (e.g., one per person, device, or payment method). We may revoke trials for suspected abuse.
• Immediate performance (EU/UK consumers). By starting a trial that immediately unlocks paid features, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal for that period is lost when the paid term starts, to the extent permitted by law.
• Promotions & codes. Promotional pricing, coupons, or credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, may carry expiration dates, and may not be combined unless explicitly stated. We may reverse credits obtained by fraud or abuse.

6) Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

• Recurring billing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
• Renewal notices. Where required by law, we send advance renewal or price-change notices to your account email. Ensure your email and payment details remain current.
• Price changes. We may change prices for future terms. Changes take effect at the next renewal after reasonable prior notice. If you disagree, cancel before renewal; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

7) Upgrades, Downgrades & Plan Changes

• Upgrades. If you upgrade mid-term, we may (a) charge a pro-rated amount and apply the upgrade immediately, or (b) schedule the upgrade for the next term at the posted rate. We will disclose which approach applies at the point of change.
• Downgrades. Downgrades typically take effect at the end of the current paid term. Feature reductions may apply after the downgrade takes effect (e.g., lower limits, fewer archives).
• Credits. Any pro-rated credits are applied to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.

8) Cancellation

• How to cancel. You may cancel at any time in account settings or by contacting us at billing@instaget.online. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current paid term unless we confirm earlier effect.
• No retroactive cancellation. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused services, except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
• Time zones. Renewals and term boundaries are processed in our operational time zone (America/Edmonton) unless we specify otherwise at checkout.

9) Refunds & Chargebacks

• General rule. All fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable once a term begins, except where required by law. We may issue goodwill credits at our discretion.
• EU/UK consumer notice. For digital services delivered immediately, you acknowledge that you requested immediate performance and that any statutory cooling-off right may not apply to the current billing period to the extent permitted by law.
• Billing errors. Report suspected billing errors promptly. We will investigate and correct any confirmed errors by refund or credit.
• Chargebacks. Please contact us first to resolve any issue. Initiating a chargeback for a valid charge may result in suspension, plan downgrade, or account closure, and we may contest the chargeback with evidence of your purchase, login, and usage.

10) Payment Methods & Processing

• Processors. We use one or more payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to process payments on our behalf. Processors act as independent controllers or processors as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Auth & SCA/3DS. You may be required to complete Strong Customer Authentication (e.g., 3-D Secure). Failure to complete may interrupt service.
• Stored methods. You authorize tokenized storage of your payment method for recurring billing and reattempts. Replace expired cards promptly to avoid interruption.
• Failures & dunning. If a charge fails, we may reattempt, request an alternate payment method, temporarily suspend paid features, or convert the account to a free tier until payment succeeds.
• Accuracy. You represent that payment information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the method provided. We may cancel any purchase for suspected fraud or legal risk.

11) Invoices, Receipts & Disputes

• We provide electronic invoices/receipts. Update your contact and billing details to ensure delivery.
• Dispute window. Notify us of any invoice disputes within 30 days of the invoice date. Pay undisputed amounts when due while we investigate the disputed portion.

12) Data; No Physical Goods

• All offerings are digital services or access rights. No physical goods are shipped.
• Account data handling, retention, and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. See also our DMCA Policy and Copyright & Removal for copyright notices and takedowns.

13) Compliance, Sanctions & Export Controls

• You must not purchase or use paid features if you are subject to trade sanctions or located in an embargoed jurisdiction. We may screen transactions and decline or terminate access where required by law.
• You will not use the Service for prohibited end uses (e.g., certain financial services or biometric uses) where restricted by law or our Terms of Service.

14) Price/Offering Changes, Discontinuation

• We may add, modify, or discontinue plans or features. If we discontinue your paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused fees.

15) Enterprise & Business Users

• Business Users may request invoicing, PO numbers, or custom terms. Unless a separate written agreement is executed, these Subscriptions / Payments terms and the Terms of Service govern.

17) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, pricing, processors, or features. Material changes will be posted here and the “Last Updated” date will change. For price changes, see §6. Continued use after an update signifies acceptance.
