{"aliases":[],"awards":[],"biography_summary":"Qiao Ji (; 1280\u20131345) also known as Qiao Jifu (\u55ac\u5409\u752b), courtesy name Mengfu (\u5922\u7b26), art names Shenghe Weng (\u7b19\u9db4\u7fc1) and Xingxing Daoren (\u60fa\u60fa\u9053\u4eba), was a Chinese dramatist and poet of the Yuan dynasty. He was originally from Taiyuan, but lived in the West Lake area in Zhejiang province. The Record of Ghosts (\u9304\u9b3c\u7c3f) describes Qiao as having an aloof and intimidating demeanor, to the point people were in awe of him. Eleven of his plays survive.
