In 2010\u201311, he spent the season at Liverpool before returning to Belgium afterwards to spend the rest of his career at Anderlecht. Jovanovi\u0107 earned 44 caps for the Serbia national team from his debut in 2007, and scored 11 international goals. Coach Radomir Anti\u0107 created a wing-tandem with Jovanovi\u0107 and Milo\u0161 Krasi\u0107 which is remembered as the best wing-partnership in the modern history of the Serbia national team. He represented Serbia at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
