{"aliases":[],"awards":["Prix de Rome"],"biography_summary":"Jean-Antoine Watteau (, , ;; baptised 10 October 1684died 18 July 1721) was a French painter and draughtsman whose brief career spurred the revival of interest in colour and movement, as seen in the tradition of Correggio and Rubens. He revitalized the waning Baroque style, shifting it to the less severe, more naturalistic, less formally classical, Rococo. Watteau is credited with inventing the genre of f\u00eates galantes, scenes of bucolic and idyllic charm, suffused with a theatrical air. Some of his best known subjects were drawn from the world of Italian comedy and ballet.","birth_date":"1684-10-10","birth_place":"Valenciennes","birth_place_coordinates":{"latitude":50.358056,"longitude":3.523333},"birth_place_wikidata_id":"Q163795","birth_place_wikidata_url":"https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q163795","canonical_name":"Jean-Antoine Watteau","canonical_url":"https://zh-cn.instaget.online/people/021c3458835486e1b874a2d3","citizenships":["Kingdom of France"],"death_date":"1721-07-18","description":"French painter (1684-1721)","external_ids":{"isni":{"id":"0000000121311877","url":"https://isni.org/isni/0000000121311877"},"loc":{"id":"n50043693","url":"https://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n50043693.html"},"viaf":{"id":"46882028","url":"https://viaf.org/viaf/46882028/"}},"full_name":"Jean-Antoine Watteau","height_cm":null,"names":{"aliases":["Jean Antoine Watteau","Jean-Antoine Wataux","Antuan Vatto","Jean-Antoine Vatteau","Jean Antoine Wateau","Jean-Antoine Vateau","Jean-Antoine Wattaux","Jean-Antoine Wattau","Jean-Antoine Watteax","Jean-Antoine Watteaux","Wateau","Vatto","Watteau","Waltau","Watteax","anton watteau","Antoine Vatteau","S.
